About the Seminar

A three-day hands-on seminar focused on trailing in diverse terrain. The seminar is designed for handlers who want to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. Training follows the GAK9 methodology and draws on practical experience gained through working dog training and real-world search operations.

  • Analyzing the dog's work on the trail

  • Interpreting canine behavior

  • Recognizing changes in the dog's working behavior

  • Handler skills and decision-making during trailing

  • Scent problem-solving

  • Trailing in different types of terrain

  • Trail planning and analysis

  • Individual feedback

Who Is the Seminar For?

The seminar is designed for K9 teams with basic trailing experience who want to further develop their skills. Each team receives individualized training on trails suited to their experience and current skill level.

GAK9 Certification

Participants have the opportunity to complete a GAK9 certification evaluation in accordance with international standards as part of the seminar.

  • 5–6 working K9 teams

  • Individualized training for each team

Seminar Fee

CZK 8,000 per K9 team
The fee includes the full three-day seminar program.

  • Several individual trails throughout the seminar

  • Video recordings of each trail

  • Review and analysis of each trail

  • Individual feedback from instructors

  • Opportunity to complete a GAK9 certification evaluation

Recommended Equipment
  • A working harness and a long trailing line

  • Rewards for the dog

  • Appropriate outdoor clothing

  • Sturdy footwear

  • A baseball cap

  • Plenty of water for both dog and handler

Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. Upon request, we'll be happy to recommend trusted accommodation options in the area.
