GAK9 Czech Republic
Practical Experience
K9 Training Based on Real-World Experience
Our training approach is based on hands-on experience in mantrailing, scent work, and Search & Rescue (SAR). We combine the international GAK9 training methodology with experience gained through years of K9 training and participation in real-world search operations in the USA.
Our training focuses on reading canine body language, working with individual human scent, and independent problem-solving on the trail. We train in both urban and natural environments, with an emphasis on varying scent conditions, trail age, and the effects of environmental factors on the dog's performance.
Our goal is to develop the skills of both dog and handler as an effective K9 team – from accurately interpreting the dog's working behavior to making informed decisions in challenging situations.

DOG &
HANDLER
Developing the dog's ability to work independently, accurately interpreting its working behavior, and making sound decisions as a handler.
Why GAK9
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or rehearsed scenarios. Every dog works differently, and the handler's role is to learn to read their dog's behavior, trust the dog, and respond appropriately to the information the dog provides while working.
